Default Webcaster vs. Procaster?

I believe I'm using Livestream's Webcaster via my unverified free channel.
Why would I want to use Procaster vs. Webcaster? Does Procaster have a cost?
What's the difference between the two?
Thanks

chrisjchrisj,

Procaster is entirely free and has more features than Webcaster including the ability to record at a bit rate higher than 500kbps, local recording to save a copy of your recording to your hard drive, desktop capture, etc. You can learn more at the following URL: www.procaster.com

Default what about studio?

What about the Studio product as a comparison? I'm thrilled that there are the different options (Procaster, Webcaster, and Studio) but I can't find any very useful info on the site about the differences between them and the benefits of using one over another. Any help please? Thanks.

fbcgreenvillesc,

Procaster offers many features that Studio and Webcaster does not such as the ability for free users to stream higher than 500kbps, the ability to record broadcasts locally to your hard drive, the ability to screen capture your desktop, and a greater range of supported devices. I highly recommend downloading the program and checking it out, if you haven't already: www.procaster.com
