Procaster locks up computer

Hey support!

I'm pretty new to livestream and procaster, but after initial installation, my computer locks up and freezes whenever i 'go live' with Procaster. I've been trying to stream my desktop and so far no luck. I've checked under requirements and my computer seems fine as well as looked for any updates needed.

However, I know my computer has had problems with streaming video before with GoToMeeting's live desktop sharing.

I have an ASUS G5IJ and it has:

+NVIDIA GeForce GTX 260M 1GB GDDR3 memory
+4GB PC3-8500 DDR3 SDRAM
+Intel i7 Processor
+Windows 7-64bit

Any suggestions on how i should troubleshoot this would be really helpful!

Jayo,

Do you have the latest video card drivers from the manufacturer? You can also install Procaster version 20.2.43 to see if that makes a difference.

I've updated my driver as well as tried the version you have mentioned.
It doesn't freeze my computer entirely but the program still crashes. Thanks for your help!
