Unhappy The server is converting my uploaded file forever.

I streamed a 2.5 hour live show but the recording didn't work so I tried to upload the show (940M) several times but it stays on 0% with the message: "Our server is now importing and converting your clip. It usually takes 1.5 mins for a 1 min clip."
Sorry for my english. Thanks.

villedimages,

Did you delete the storyboard from the live recording? I don't see a record of it in your Studio. We typically recommend all files that are uploaded to our servers be 700MB max. Are you trying to upload the file as "Master?"

Hello, I've tried everything you say, my original goal was to stream live shows and then loop them on air right after, the live works fine but the recording never worked with all kinds of settings...
I'm using procaster 20.0.89 on a MacBook Pro with Matrox MXO2 LE for streaming
and an other mac for the "studio".
Livestream could be great but it's useless for me if I can't record or at least upload so thanks for your help !

"We typically recommend all files that are uploaded to our servers be 700mbs max."

Do you mean the size or the bitrate ?

Sorry for the confusion here - this should read maximum 700MB, total file size. 940 MB is a very large file, generally if the file is any larger than 700MB we recommend splitting it into smaller files and uploading for best results. You can then combine these files on a single storyboard by checking the "play as one file" box on the storyboard.

Ok I'll try that... But you should remove "UP TO 1GB" in the upload window..

The upload and conversion procedure is awful long, do you have recommended
settings with procaster to make live recordings work ?
Thanks anyway.

I noticed a looong conversion time too, that's why i've decided to convert my shows in FLV myself and upload as Master. There are many free FLV encoder one can use, like the easy and quick Riva (http://www.rivavx.com/?encoder), i really suggest it!
