Hello, Im trying to stream live videos with a soundcraft F1 Mixer output to a Sony Z5 proffessional broadcast DV/HD camera input, then from the camera via firewire to a fujitsu siemens computer, & broadcasting with the Procaster software which is set to normal quality.
The sound that comes out of my broadcast breaks up badly & the video lags. Can any smarter person help me please. Thanks |

Have you tried connecting the mixer directly to the computer's line in and choosing that as an audio source instead?

Many thanks once again.
This is my connection: I have connected the mixer's output to the camera's input, and then I have connected the camera to my computer via firewire. NOW, although the sound plays perfectly in my camera's headphone, if I select my camera as the audio source from the drop down menu in procaster, the sound breaks badly when broadcasting live. BUT when I just use livetream to broadcast with my camera selected as audio sorce, no sound comes out (the audio meter does not read). HOWEVER, If I play music from my desk top instead of mixer with my soundcard selected as audio source the sound plays perfectly when broadcasting live (strange). ALSO, I have connected my computer's soundcard output to the mixer input & when I play music from my desktop, I can hear it perfectly from the camera headphone... hope Im not disturbing you too much...many thanks again |
