Since I've started streaming, Livestream has only ever been able to pick up the sound from my mic; nothing else. I've got Windows XP SP3 and Realtek HD Audio Manager as my sound manager.
My source choices for audio output are Default, Realtek HD audio, Realtek HD digital, and Speaker's Audio. I know you're supposed to select 'Speaker's Audio' and everything should be just dandy, but it's never worked for me, no matter what I change. I recently downloaded the trial version of Virtual Audio Cable, as I've heard it can help in these situations, so another source I now have is Virtual Cable I, but I have no idea how to make VAC actually work (if anyone thinks that can be the fix, please explain it to me). Are there any ways to fix this, or am I forever doomed to use my mic? Thanks everyone, I <3 you all. Last edited by Gingy; 29th May 2010 at 17:57. |

Are you trying to stream a game?
Try and experiment. Open a video in Windows Media Player Select and audio setting in Procaster (I assume you're using Procaster). Also click on the Settings button next to that and make sure it's turned up to 100. Then use Screen and stream and see if you hear the audio. If not, stop the stream and use the next audio setting in Procaster. This will see if any of them are "hearing" the audio from WMP. Maybe you've done something like this already but it's not clear what your audio source was so I'm suggesting the above. Also check your Realtek settings. Get back to me and we'll see what next steps to take. |

I have pretty much the same issue. Actually, when I first used LS the Speakers Audio did work but for some reason it doesn't anymore even though I haven't changed any of the settings...
I even messed around with all the different ones and nothing seems to work. I even uninstalled the damn thing but that didn't work either. Its a real bummer man ): |

It's hard to make suggestions since you don't mention anything about your system.
Include specs and OS version. Are you using Procaster and have you updated to 10.0.124? Have you tried updating sound card drivers? BTW something MUST have changed whether directly or automatically. The trick is finding what. |
