Default Procaster won't even go live

I'm using a mac
I downloaded the mac version
Every time I press 'go live' it doesn't do anything on the actual channel page.
Like, I can press 'go live' and it says it's streaming, but when I have friends go to view the video, they say it's offline and if I go onto it on my laptop, it says it's offline.
My mac is the 10.5.8 version with the 2.8 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo (Mac OSX)

Hello. When you are streaming, please ensure that you have your settings under video set to auto live. This will ensure that when you do broadcast, it will go live to your Livestream Channel.

There is nothing under 'video' that says anything about auto live, there is on the livestream tab though. And that's clicked to on, but whenever I broadcast, it still doesn't display on my channel.

Thumbs up not broadcasting

From time to Time on my mac, Procaster does not see the channel. It only shows the preview option... I've found as a rule, if you open your browser first, go to the channel on LiveStream then open Procaster, it will find the channel and be able to broadcast.
Hope this is of help! This is Beta software, we all learn together!

Having the same problem with my Livestream channel saying "OFFLINE". Here's what I've done . . .

- I've installed and launched Procaster on Mac today (May 27, 2011) so I have the latest verstion.

- I click on "GO LIVE"

- I see the control bar at the bottom of my screen and my desktop on the extreme left as a small window.

- However when I go to my Livestream channel, it says "OFF LINE"

Please help.

speedequity1,

Please make certain that you have auto live selected in the Procaster preferences menu.

I had the same problem. I went under the video tab in the preferences area to set my target bitrate to...about 400, and set the keyframe intervals to 8 or so.
