Default Uninstall Procaster Mac?

How do I uninstall Livestream Procaster on the Mac?

After dragging the app bundle to the trash, I still have the Audioredirector audio devices in the sound system preferences, and I have an ongoing double-click effect after a single click mouse problem that appeared immediately after installing 2.0.18. I tried 2.0.20, and the problem continued. (iMac Core i7, 10.6.2 fully updated, Razer DeathAdder)

I would like to undo all of the changes that the installer did, but I cannot see any uninstall script. I'm comfortable doing whatever manual changes I need to do, but I need a list of what needs to be done.

Cool

Hi

sorry for the problems! we will add an uninstall script. Procaster installs the LPAudioRedirector.kext driver which resides in /System/Library/Extensions. for now, just move it away from there.

thanks

Procaster caused me SO much trouble! I recently got a new iMac and transferred over all my files using the migration tool. But, when I would log in, the default output was audioredirector. So, I went on the phone with Apple and spent OVER AN HOUR trying to get this fixed. Finally I googled it with quotations and found this page. Please get this fixed!!!!

Default windows too

We have a team in India having major problems with this too. How do they disable audio redirector in windows? On the mac I can delete the extension. Not sure how to do it on windows.

Why? If they have a firewire interface, the mixer should see that interface for audio just like the old procaster did. Now I don't see it and only see speakers audio. I want them to select the firewire interface directly for audio.

hi

on windows we dont have an audio redirector but instead we are working with the native audio driver.

i'm not sure if I understand the mixer problem. if you open audio mixer, and press the add button, you should be able to add an audio source. let me know if it doesnt work.

thanks

This doesn't work for me, I go to
/System/Library/ but there is no Extensions folder after that. I am using a Mac with OSX version 10.6.8, so a Snow Leopard. I would like to unistall everything so I don't have any problems during reinstallation.

Try pressing Shift+Command+G and enter /System/Library/Extensions/ and press Go.

Default I am having issues with audio as well and can not seem to uninstall audio redirector

I can't uninstall audio redirector on Lion... I am on the latest version of your software. it's not in the library extension.

Check for the following names:
-LPAudioRedirector.kext
-LPAudioRedirector32.kext
-LPAudioRedirector64.kext
-ProcasterAudioRedirector32.kext
-ProcasterAudioRedirector64.kext
-ProcasterAudioRedirector.kext

These are all the names the Audio Redirector ever had
