I had these same issues for quite awhile and whenever I opened
http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/ it would say that it was updated (current) for chrome.
And I did not want to install Firefox to get this working or even try going down that road.
I also don't use Internet Explorer, but I thought since I can't uninstall it I might as well see if its Flash is up to date too.
So I went to
http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/ in IE and it needed an update, afterwards I restarted Procaster and all the magic is back
