Has any progress been made on this? We stream our church services and would like to buy and distribute a set-top box to our shut-ins who don't have PC's so they can watch the services.

Well, that's a bit of a deal breaker. Is there a way to switch cameras on the fly, toggling between the 2 without stopping the broadcast/recording? That would still work for us.

There's both USB inputs, Syntek STK1160 and USB 2861 Video (eMPIA Technology). They're the sort of thing used to import video from a VCR into a computer.
