Archived video "more details"
 

Who and where can see those additional details? Other than me when editing them?

BTW: it is pretty rude (imho) that links in comments are totally wiped off? Why is that?

The 'More Details' field is not yet visible to the public.

Regarding links in the chat stream, my best guess is that this is to prevent distribution of spam/malware. I'll add a note to our feature requests document for the addition of chat links if you'd like.

Hopefully it will be? What kind of details are supposed to be documented there, then?

At least the owner of the event should have a possibility to use links in comments. Very often participants of discussions like to add information links. At least with that kind of content and audience eg. I will be targeting (after this test period).

It's hard to say what should be entered into the more details section until it's actually viewable to the public, however it would probably best be used for additional information to supplement text/video posts.
