Live thumbnail for embedded stream

Is there any way to create a live thumbnail for an embedded stream? I see there's an API that can be used to create a live thumbnail, but how would you incorporate that into the embedded code?

You're looking for the Live Thumbnail API. There's no simple implementation of the API, I would highly recommend having the assistance of a developer if you plan on using any API functions.
