This is the website of the Greek political party ECOLOGISTS-GREENS (OIKOLOGOI PRASINOI) member of the European Green Party. A full English version of our website will be available soon. Thank you for your understanding. About us Having started in December 2002 and held their Founding Congress in May 2003, ECOLOGISTS GREENS (Oikologoi Prasinoi, or just “Eco-Greens”) is a young party. Their Founding Declaration defines their approach to ecology as: creative, radical, politically independent, tolerant, internationalist and pacifist;movement-orientated, community-based, participatory, feminist, solidary, anti-consumerist; antiauthoritarian and alternative. ECOLOGISTS GREENS have now launched their first campaign and have participated in the 2004 European Election, obtaining over 40.000 votes. In 2006 they were involved in the municipal elections in several areas with very good results. This year (2007) they are participating for the first time in the general elections.
