On Monday Oct. 5 at 6pm ET, rock band SAOSIN will perform live on Facebook using their custom Livestream Facebook app and microsite. Fans can chat and hear the band perform their hits live courtesy of their label EMI. In addition to Facebook chat their official channel page will also host a live Twitter chat.

Air Mozilla, the Mogulus channel of the Mozilla corporation did a Marathon broadcast of the 24 hours after the release of Firefox 3. The goal was to break the Guinness World Record for “Most Software Downloads in 24 hours”. A bumpy start and some smoking servers later, Firefox 3 had more than 8 million downloads in the first 24 hours. The people of Guinness are reviewing the World Record attempt but it looks like Firefox 3 made it!!!
