Happy Monday and welcome back to the Livestream music blog! Last weeks shows were out of control, did you see legendary rapper Too $hort playing live at The Knitting Factory Brooklyn? If not be sure to check out the on demand clip right here. This week we have more great shows streaming live from venues across the country and from our own studio.
Kick this week off right with Diane Birch streaming live from Joes Pub in Manhattan NY. Diane describes her music as “old soul” a mix of piano virtuosity and easy going, hook driven pop. Don’t miss a chance to see her playing tracks off her critically acclaimed debut LP “Bible Belt” live tonight at 9:30pm ET. RSVP for the show here
Next up we have a live session and chat with Graffiti 6 from our own in house studio. This British band blends pop, psychedilia and R&B to create their unique and vibrant musical style. After getting attention on their self-released EP Colours the band signed to Capitol Records and relocated to Los Angeles, where they now call home. This Thursday at 4pmET they’re taking a break from their US east cost for a live acoustic session and chat. FOLLOW the session page and don’t forget to tune in early for behind the scenes updates.
Finally on Thursday night we are so excited to be streaming the record release party for Brooklyn’s own The Big Sleep. The trio’s new album “Nature Experiments” drops February 14th on French Kiss records & we are so excited to get a taste of the new material live! RSVP for the set at 10pm ET and don’t miss the chance to see this emerging indie band before they break big.
