This morning, waking up on a sunny Saturday morning in New York City, grabbing a coffee while reading the paper I was stunned to realize that Mogulus had played a key role in the front page story of today’s newspapers and television news – Hillary Clinton had made controversial remarks regarding Robert F. Kennedy’s (RFK’s) assassination during her live interviews with the Argus Leader editorial board – exclusively broadcast live on the newspaper’s website using Mogulus.
Very quickly the story became headline news in newspapers and news channels – as an example here’s today’s frontpage of the New York Post :

Click here to see a video clip from CNN’s television coverage – including a retransmission of the video recorded using the Mogulus platform.
What is interesting is how the story developed – here’s a clipping from the print edition of the New York Times :

If the New York post reporter had not been able to watch the interview live through the Mogulus player – the comment might have gone unnoticed. Also, without live webcasting it might have taken hours/days for the video to be available from the tape – The Mogulus platform was also able to provide an instant recording for distribution to news television stations.
We are proud to see that democratized live Internet television tools such as Mogulus are enabling newspapers to broadcast just like any television station and playing a growing role in the media and reporting landscape.
