Mogulus Studio Upgrade (Beta 1.3)

Along with the launch today – we have also released an updated Mogulus Studio.

Anybody can now create a Mogulus producer account and launch a channel in an instant – no more approval required (open beta)

Easier access to the Mogulus Studio
You can now access the Mogulus Studio using this URL : www.mogulus.com/studio . We have also added a ‘Remember Me’ feature on the login form so that you don’t have to type your password every time.

Channel Page
Each mogulus channel now has a customizable public channel page http://www.mogulus.com/[yourchannel name] – you no longer need to have your own page to broadcast with Mogulus. The page has Twitter integration and a profile section which support HTML and widgets. To manage your page, login to the studio, selecting ‘Configure Channel’ – ‘My Channel Page’.

Production team management and invitations
We have improved the ‘Manage Team’ feature. You can now invite from the Studio non-Mogulus users to produce in your channel. Simply go to the ‘Configure Channel’ – ‘Manage Team’ page, click ‘Add Production Team Member’ and choose ‘New Mogulus User’. Simply type the email address and they will receive an email allowing them to create an account and be authorized to login in your channel automatically.

Improved Youtube search
You can now search Youtube by Youtube username or even insert directly a Youtube video page URL – this feature makes it much easier for producers to find and import their content on Youtube.

Grab you Player widget code from within the studio
New Get Player option – allowing you to customize and pick your Mogulus player widget embed tag right from the studio.

    Very nice Max. I love everything that’s rolling out so far, really just aces. You guys are outdoing yourselves. One suggestion. All players on the site should be in the OFF position on load. It makes exploring the site laggy when there is a player trying to load as a user is trying to get around.

    I am also exceedingly pleased that we can leave comments on the blogs now. It makes communicating on point much easier.

    Great job and I will be submitting some more feedback in the next few days!!

    Hi,

    It’s great to see Mogulus has some new features soon.
    As an Asian producer, what I need most is the 2 bytes characters support.

    Hope you will support the Unicode UTF-8 as soon as possible.

    Dear all,

    To say the least I am impressed with the latest developments and would like to say “BIG UP” to you guys.

    The new features and functionalities described above and the ease of use will help producers focus more in content production…..

    What I am interested in, is the possibility of embedding my customizable channel page on the grid on my website as the full screen capability has been introduce…

    The combination of a full sreen and a better encoding will make you guys the best for what Mogulus is designed for….live TV on the net.
