Chat Upgrade : User list is back and new live Blog Mode

We have released Mogulus Studio version 3.1.11 and Player version 3.1.11.

This release includes several chat features:

- Mute viewers: This feature enables producers to do a live blog using the chatroom. Viewers will be able to see only what producers enter but cannot participate in chat.

- Producer chat: This chatroom is only in the studio enabling producers to discuss privately while in the studio or leave messages for other production team members.
- Clear chat: Removes all past text in the chatroom.

You will also notice that due to popular demand we have returned the user list to the chatroom. Thank you to everyone who contacted us regarding this and other chat requests for all of your feedback and support.

    I just want to congratulate you guys on your ever growing updates, i can sincerely say that since i became a producer here with you guys, it’s been a lot of fun i only had a glitch with a folder once but your people quickly resolved the matter, i must say you guys rock. This is a great creation for such complicated and expensive industry. You guys are very generous, cause these days very few things are actually still free. I would love to become a paying contributor but 350 is very high on my budget. I found your site on a total accident looking for tv online and when i saw the oportunity to become a producer myself and show a bit of my culture to the rest of the world in such a fashionable and classy way, i was very excited, also great way to share moments with the family and friends that are distant from you. so For now i just broadcast my personal media library but i do intend to have my own show, being that i a professional actor i couldn’t get a sweeter deal on exposing my talent and ideas. I can’t say that 350,00 to start pro is espensive considering how many people and files you guys get on your servers everyday, i can only say there is out of my humble reach at the moment. If you guys ever came down to a 50,00 or even 80 i would definetely pay for. I Guess what i am trying to say is just a big thanx for all efforts of improvement and consideration towards your clients. I’m very satisfied with your product and services. if i had to rate you on a scale of 1 to 10. 1000 wouldn’t be enough to prestige you guys. Great job guys. Keep up with the good work.     Just wondering, why did you remove the user list in the first place?

    @Splatzone – We changed our back-end from Jabber to our own Mogulus server so that we could scale beyond 50,000 concurrent chat users in one channel. In order to optimize scalability, we removed the user list. Based on all the feedback we revisited to see if we could find a scalable solution to support user list – we did find one and re-introduced the user list as quickly as we could.
