Philly rockers Free Energy will be dropping by the SPIN Manhattan headquarters on Thursday, August 12 to play a rooftop set for the latest edition of the SPIN House Live Series – presented by Amstel Light – and you can watch it live on Livestream! Free Energy was named a Hot New Band by SPIN in July 2009, and later made SPIN’s Artists To Watch In 2010, based on the strength of their self-titled debut EP. Presented by the Natural History Museum in Oslo, Norway and led by Dr. Jørn Hurum, watch the action as these archaeologists uncover the past at Konusen north of Longyearbyen. The team is excavating three skeletons of Ichthyosaurs, giant marine reptiles that lived in the Svalbard waters 140-150 million years ago.
