Motorola, Moto Blur, and Cincinnati Bengals star wide receiver Chad “Esteban” Ocho Cinco delivered a special announcement today on Livestream.
The announcement was for the Ocho Cinco News Network, the brainchild of Ocho Cinco and his partners at Motorola. Powered by Moto Blur, Ocho Cinco was transformed into a one-man social news network in 2009. OCNN brings fans all the news they need from on and off the field, from the most exciting mind in the NFL.
This announcement was a special rookie draft pick for a new OCNN correspondent. As Ocho Cinco will not be able to cover the upcoming NFL Draft due to his engagement with Dancing With The Stars, he has named Oklahoma defensive tackle Gerald McCoy to be his eyes and ears at the event.
After tweeting live from the event the announcement and showing the tweet to a live audience jam-packed with press, Ocho Cinco called McCoy up to the stage for a traditional jacket and hat ceremony. Afterwards, McCoy described the experience as “unbelievable”, thanked Motorola and Ocho Cinco and added that he will have “a permanent smile on his face” for some time.
