Jared Leto and 30 Seconds to Mars hosted an exclusive Q&A Wednesday evening live from Los Angeles, promoting their latest album “This is War,” which was released on December 8th. The session was streamed live on Facebook.com/ThirtySecondsToMars, Livestream.com/ThirtySecondsToMars and the iPhone.
Various radio stations from Los Angeles, Florida, Seattle, all Skyped in to ask the band questions, and K-ROCK‘s listeners had exclusive Q&A privileges. The band also interacted with fans asking questions via Twitter and Facebook live.
In addition to the main event, on Tuesday night, the band had a special “VIP” discussion for the fans who pre-ordered their new album. Those who pre-ordered the album were given a special code, giving them access to the Thirty Seconds to Mar’s VIP page. The VIP provided fans with an exclusive and personal chat with the band for more than an hour.

I was at both the chats, it was great, awesome and funny. You are very special guys!
“This is War” is a masterpiece, it’s a great revolution and I think is very unique and magic. Pure emotions, deep thoughs, passion, energy, optimism, freedom, honesty, dream, courage, heart..and I also feel much more a sense of community.
It makes me feel more stronger and teach me that we have always to fight for what we believe, to know who we really are and what we want, but especially we have to fight for our dreams. Sometimes we are just us against the world, the universe, we feel alone, maybe we fall apart..but we can back up again.FIGHT! This is our life, 1 life..so important and precious and we have to defend it and fight for it.
Jared, you said this album is like a movie and every song is a “chapter”, it’s very personal and I feel it. When I listen to the songs..it’s difficult to explain but it’s like I can feel your emotions, what you felt writing them.
I loved it from the first time, there’s something I feel very special.
“This is War” is different because is more personal and it’s ike you opened a door of your heart to us, and I’ll never stop to say thank you for that, Jared.
I love the entire album! Every second, every note, every word, every emotion.
