Monday October 19 at 6pm PT / 9pm ET Livestream will be streaming the Red Carpet Premiere of the new animated movie Astro Boy in Los Angeles. All of the film’s voice actors will be there, including Freddie Highmore, Kristen Bell and Nicolas Cage, among others. On Tuesday, October 20 from 3-6pm ET, Beet.TV will be hosting a Round Table discussion about online video live from 30 Rockefeller Center in New York City.  The discussion, which is sponsored by YuMe, will be about Emerging opportunities for Marketers and Publishers, and will feature experts from many major online publications including MSNBC.com, The New York Times, and The Wall Street Journal.  The complete list of participants is available here, and you can participate on Beet.TV’s Livestream Channel Page or Facebook.

Beginning on Thursday October 22 and running through Saturday the 24, Livestream will broadcast the 2009 Pop Tech Conference live from Camden, Maine at www.livestream.com/poptech. PopTech is an annual conference that brings together some of the most influential people in the Technology field to discuss media, progress, and social innovation.  Check out the official schedule for all the speakers and make sure to tune in on Wednesday.

The Monthly NY Video town hall discussion will take place on Wednesday October 21 at 6:30 pm ET from NYU in New York City.  The discussion will bring together many of the major figures in the New York online video community, and will feature a keynote from Blockbuster Digital VP, Scott Levine. In addition there will be presentations from Milabra, LiveU, and the launch of the new startup GNMarketLink.  Tune into the official NY Video channel page on Wednesday at 6:30 for all of the live keynotes.
