On Monday Oct. 5 at 6pm ET, rock band SAOSIN will perform live on Facebook using their custom Livestream Facebook app and microsite.  Fans can chat and hear the band perform their hits live courtesy of their label EMI.  In addition to Facebook chat their official channel page will also host a live Twitter chat.

This week Turner Sports will be presenting two post game chats following the MLB playoff games on Tuesday and Thursday afternoon. Tuesday Oct. 6 at 12pm ET former Yankees pitcher David Wells will host the discussion, followed on Thursday Oct. 8 by former pitcher Dennis Eckersley. This Tuesday Livestream will be broadcasting the Hollywood premiere of “Law Abiding Citizen” starring Jamie Foxx and Gerard Butler.   The feed will be live from the Red Carpet at Grauman’s Chinese Theater in Hollywood at 6:30pm PT / 9:30pm ET on Tuesday October 6.  The roaming camera broadcast will be streamed using Livestream’s Livepack technology, and will be available right here on Tuesday evening.

The Future Music Policy Summit will be live from Washington D.C. on Monday October 5 and Tuesday October 6 via Web.illish.us.  The Policy Summit brings together industry experts to discuss selling and promoting music in the Digital age, and will feature keynotes from the likes of Tim Quirk of Rhapsody, Bob Boilen of NPR, and Sen. The sold out 2009 MIMA Summit (Minnesota Interactive Marketing Association) will be streamed live from the official MIMA Livestream Premium channel http://www.livestream.com/mimastream on Monday October 5.  Yoyodyne founder and author of best seller All Marketers Are Liars Seth Godin, will be delivering the main keynote to the 1,000+ attendees beginning at 12:15pm CST (1:15pm ET).
