We’re very excited to announce our partnership with the Online News Association, the world’s largest association of online journalists. ONA’s mission is to inspire innovation and excellence among journalists to better serve the public. This is a great natural venture for us, in line with Livestream’s desire and long term strategy to work with digital producers across the spectrum.
ONA members includes news writers, producers, designers, editors, bloggers, technologists, photographers and others who produce news for the Internet or other digital delivery systems, as well as academic members and others interested in the development of online journalism. ONA also hosts the Online News Association annual conference and administers the Online Journalism Awards. Both events will be streamed live for the first time this year, respectively on 1-3 October 2009 and 3 October 2009.
