Sports League chooses Mogulus as online broadcasting partner

The National Lacrosse League (NLL) has chosen Mogulus as its primary partner for online broadcasting. “This is a great breakthrough for us,” says George Daniel, NLL’s Deputy Commissioner & Chief Operating Officer. “With Mogulus, just like with a TV channel, we can go live any time and know our fans are viewing the same content at the same time.”

NLL Home Page with Mogulus Player

The NLL embeds its Mogulus playlist on its home page (http://www.nll.com/). The Mogulus player replaces an old video-on-demand player that played the same content from the beginning every time a visitor opened the page. “We tried to update the old content to keep it interesting, but our fans were always complaining that we didn’t update it often enough. In the end, they weren’t watching many videos.”

The NLL makes their Mogulus broadcast look like any regular major league sportscast. “Now that our fans are tuning in to a live broadcast, we can give them a true television experience. They’re discovering new content they would never would have found before, and as a result they’re watching us longer.”

For the first time ever, the NLL plans in-depth coverage of live events this season. Lacrosse fans can rejoice!
