TEDxWaterloo wanted viewers to learn one thing from their massive all-day event on Thursday, February 25, which was also their main theme for the event: “Tomorrow Started Yesterday.” Yesterday the Gig Music Hall in Kitchener, ON played host to speakers, performers and demonstrations of amazing ideas through videos, explanations and live TEDTalks.
Featured speakers at the event included CBC radio host Terry O’ Reilly, award-winning producer & photographer Paul Saltzman, and best-selling children’s author Amy Krouse Rosenthal. The broadcast also briefly featured Livestream‘s new subtitle service (as shown in clip below), which you can read more about on http://livestream.com/subtitles.
Last weekend, Livestream also powered the TEDxAustin broadcast which drew in 10,000 unique viewers, empowering TED enthusiasts everywhere to “Play Big” in their own backyard.
